Those of you who are joining this blog from one of my others know that we have a French Angora rabbit, a doe. She's about 5 months old, beautiful red eyes (she's an albino), 4 very sharp front teeth, and has a temper worse than a half-starved panther!
All of a sudden she's decided that (1) she doesn't want to come out of her cage so we can comb her (2) there MUST be an escape route if only she can scratch at the metal/tin cage often enough (3) the same hand that reaches into the cage to give her a carrot and some greens and hay MUST also want to take it right back out and therefore, must charge at the hand and bite it!
She's beautiful and healthy, but boy... what an attitude! Are we truly sure we want to raise a whole herd of these bunnies? Maybe an angora goat would be easier!
Hmmm. Something to think about!

Hi Vikki. I like the new blog. And the name is perfect. I would love to be sitting there drinking coffee (I never learned to like tea) listening to the birds sing and talking among friends. Since the distance of what 3000 miles makes that impossible I will just join in the blog.
I am going to stick to my guns for now and say I don't want anything else I have to feed or clean up after. My husband is enough!
GRITS
Thanks Grits. Please feel free to drink coffee - I could go for some instant french vanilla from time to time!
And.. boy howdy! About the cleaning up thing ... well, I'd say more but Hubby might read this!
Have a great Monday!
Vikki
